Our Thrift Store: a place where you can shop with heart — and help fight hunger in Silver City.
Come shop at the Silver City Gospel Mission where every purchase makes a difference in stamping out hunger in our community. Our shelves are stocked with gently used clothing, household goods, furniture, books, and unique treasures — all generously donated by caring people throughout our area.
Every dollar you spend in our thrift store goes directly toward supporting The Silver City Gospel Mission where we serve free hot meals and give out weekly mobile pantry items to individuals and families in need. By shopping, donating, or volunteering in the store you’re helping to put food on someone’s table along with hope in their heart. It's a win for everybody!
How it works
Donate. Bring your gently used items to us. We accept clothing, shoes, furniture, small appliances, home décor, and more.
Shop. Find affordable, quality items for yourself and your casa. You never know what treasures you’ll find!
Support. 100% of the proceeds from your purchases stay local and go directly to the Gospel Mission's programs in our soup kitchen, weekly mobile pantry and outreach providing nutritious meals and support services to the neediest folks in our community.
Why it matters
Hunger and hardship affect many people and families throughout our community. The Silver City Gospel Mission soup kitchen serves nearly 2,000 free meals per month, offering nourishment and compassion to those who need it most. And that number doesn't even include all the people we serve through our weekly mobile pantries distributing food boxes to families and seniors, our weekend snack bags for our regular clients, and those who attend our Bible studies, see our case worker or use our shower and laundry!
By choosing to shop or donate at our thrift store, you become part of that mission, bringing the love of Christ to others in a way that they can actually feel. Now, that is making a difference!
Get Involved
Volunteer. Join our team at the shop or in our soup kitchen. Our projects always can use extra helping hands (along with the laughter, of course)!
Spread the Word. Tell your friends and folks that we exist! Encourage them to come shop with us.
Shop Sustainably. Reduce waste and give items a second life while also giving a hand up to your neighbors who have less.

Our thrift store is located on 111 S Texas Street, Silver City, NM 88061. Find us directly behind Jalisco's restaurant in historic downtown, towards the end of Bullard Street. Look for the building with the tall cross!
